#StayHome

After a month of silence, we send you these few words.

It’s been a month since bars and clubs, these places we cherish, had to close their doors. A few days later, the Federal Government made the wise decision to introduce containment rules. So no question of partying in private places because we like to do that too. By stopping our publications on social networks, our desire was to encourage compliance with these health measures. You shouldn’t make yourself want to meet other people with whom you share common interests. If such rules, admittedly sometimes difficult to comply with, have been imposed, it’s for the good/health of all of us. This is all the more true since many of us are part of groups at risk, especially because they know HIV very well, another virus which has already decimated our community.

We invite you to be careful for yourself but also (and perhaps especially) for others. We don’t know how long it will last. Whatever happens, we will have the opportunity to meet and celebrate with dignity in due time. We already know that the Belgian Pride has been postponed until the end of the summer. Other major events for our community will probably be. However, we will have to be reasonable. In the meantime, stay at home, follow the recommendations and life will gradually return to normal. For our part, we will remain on stand-by for as long as it takes.

See you soon dear friends for hugs, kisses and many other things.
